This song was a huge disappointment when I heard it at the movie theater. As an adult, it's even worse. The original television theme is by far the best version.

This has no business going as hard as it does. I say that as someone who is old enough to have seen the movie in theaters as a kid.

I found this album in a used music shop in the US back in the late 90s, and it immediately blew me away. Fantastic album, as is Ultima Ratio from them a little later. (I didn't think they sounded like Dream Theater though - it felt like they drew more inspiration from bands like Queensryche and Shadow Gallery, with a healthy dose of power metal thrown in.)
